Blank Slate Apps (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. Our philosophy is simple: Your data belongs to you. We built Rituals (“the App”) as a local-first app. We do not create user accounts, we do not run servers for your habit data, and we do not sell your data.
1. Data Collection & Storage
Rituals operates on a Local-First basis. All morning and evening rituals, habits, settings, and progress are stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage technologies.

- —We do not upload your habit or ritual data to any cloud servers managed by us.
2. Device Permissions
Rituals uses the following permission:
Notifications
Used for the free trial experience and to send reminders when you have set them for your rituals (e.g., morning or evening habit reminders). Notification content is based only on your local settings and is not transmitted to our servers.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to support app functionality:
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions (e.g., subscription status and lifetime purchase). RevenueCat may collect and process data necessary to provide these services (such as purchase and subscription state). For more information, see RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Apple Analytics
Apple collects anonymous, aggregate usage data (e.g., crash reports, installation counts) only if you have opted-in to share analytics with developers in your iOS settings.
