Blank Slate Studio (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. Our philosophy is simple: Your data belongs to you. We built Good Day (“the App”) as a local-first utility. We do not create user accounts, we do not run servers, and we do not sell your data.
1. Data Collection & Storage
Good Day operates on a Local-First basis. All to-do lists, good day records, and photos are stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage technologies.
- —We do not have access to your personal data.
- —We do not track your location.
- —We do not upload your data to any cloud servers managed by us.
- —All data is kept on your device. Everything you create stays with you.
2. Device Permissions
To function effectively as a day logging app, Good Day may request access to specific system features. All interactions happen strictly on-device.
Camera
Used only to take photos that you can attach to your good day entries. Photos are stored locally on your device.
Photo Library Access
If you grant permission, allows you to select existing photos from your library to attach to good day entries. This is optional and you can use the app without granting this permission.
3. Third-Party Services
We use minimal third-party services to facilitate app functionality:
Rive Animations
We use Rive Animations to provide smooth, interactive animations within the app. No personal data is shared with Rive.
Apple Analytics
Apple collects anonymous, aggregate usage data (e.g., crash reports, installation counts) only if you have opted-in to share analytics with developers in your iOS settings.
