Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Dawn - Morning Alarm app (“the App”) operated by Blank Slate Studio.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use the App.
2. Use of the App (The “Alarm” Disclaimer)
Dawn is a productivity tool designed to help you wake up. However, software and hardware are subject to failure. You acknowledge that Blank Slate Studio is not liable for any damages, missed events, lost wages, or other consequences resulting from the App failing to wake you up.
Common causes of failure include, but are not limited to:
- —Battery depletion
- —“Force Quitting” the app
- —Strict background restrictions by iOS
- —Hardware silence switches
Recommendation: We recommend using a backup alarm for critical events.
3. Purchases & Refunds
Lifetime Access
Dawn offers a “Lifetime” purchase option. This is a non-consumable product that grants you access to premium features indefinitely for the lifetime of the product.
No Subscriptions
Dawn does not charge recurring monthly fees.
Refunds
All transactions are handled directly by Apple via the App Store. We do not have the ability to process refunds personally. You must contact Apple Support for refund requests.
4. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality (including the “Dawn” brand, logo, and custom alarm sounds) are owned by Blank Slate Studio and are protected by international copyright laws. You may not reverse-engineer, copy, or distribute our proprietary assets (including audio files) as standalone products.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
7. Changes
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after those revisions become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
